Kinco
Enabling Robots to Build a Better Life for Humankind
The 25th China International Industry Fair was grandly opened at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai Hongqiao. Under the theme of Intelligent Manufacturing Driving the Future, this edition attracted more than 3,000 enterprises from 28 countries and regions worldwide, showcasing the most forward-looking innovative achievements in the industrial sector. Particularly in the field of embodied robotics, embodied robots stood out as one of the highlight trends at this year's Industrial Fair.
Where there are robots, there is Kinco. For years, Kinco has built profound expertise in the robotics core components sector, and has kept pace with industry evolution to deliver leading core component solutions. At this year’s Industrial Expo, Kinco exhibited its serialized core component solutions for embodied robots for the first time.

Wheeled Humanoid Omni-Directional Steering Wheel
The Industry’s First Original and Pioneering Product
Industry Pain Points
1、Two-wheel differential drive cannot achieve omnidirectional rotation, resulting in relatively slow operation cycles.
2、Constrained by chassis height, traditional vertical steering wheels are too large in dimension for installation.
3、The chassis must adapt to the working environment and meet certain impact resistance requirements; meanwhile, the robotic arm on the upper module bears a high load. However, the axial and radial loads as well as peak torque of in-wheel motors are not applicable to such working conditions.

Kinco iSWV Series Omni-Directional Steering Wheel Solution
1、Highly integrated and modular design with neatly arranged flexible wiring, significantly reducing the size and height of the module and improving the space utilization of the vehicle body.
2、Better coaxiality between the motor and the reducer, minimizing abnormal noise; easy replacement of wearing parts on the traveling wheel.
3、Encoder data can be read via backup power after emergency stop; the steering system adopts multi-turn absolute encoder to ensure position data remains intact in case of power failure.
4、The traveling module features IP54 protection rating, making it resistant to water, dust and other harsh working conditions.
FMK Large Hollow Series Frameless Torque Motors
Power for Rotary Joint Modules and Linear Joint Modules of Humanoid Robots
Industry Pain Points
1、Driven by the demand for lightweight arm joints, joints have stringent requirements for volume and weight, while conventional motors suffer from insufficient power density and torque density.
2、Excessive temperature rise of motors tends to activate over-temperature protection during operation.
3、The long axial dimension forces compromises in the overall design.
4、There is a lack of frameless motors with a large aspect ratio that can meet the requirements of linear joints.

Kinco FMK Series Large Hollow Shaft Direct Drive Torque Motor Solution
1、In response to lightweight design requirements, the 4th-generation FMK direct drive motor features further optimized electromagnetic design and better meets the demand for larger rotor inner diameter in robot joints. Adopting a high slot-fill ratio and large hollow shaft structure, this design liberates the layout space for mechanical engineers to arrange bearings. Combined with customized mechanical design, it can shorten the overall length of the actuator module by up to 40%.
2、Higher torque density is achieved in a more compact size. Meanwhile, new models tailored to the dimensional requirements of neck and wrist joints have been launched, covering an outer diameter range from 25mm to 160mm.
3、A series of high aspect-ratio direct drive motors developed for linear joint modules have been introduced, enabling customers to accelerate the development of linear actuator modules.
4、Optimized encapsulation technology effectively reduces temperature rise and extends the overload duration by up to 50%, with the thermal equilibrium temperature rise controlled at 30K.
5、Improved manufacturing processes for stators and rotors have enhanced automation levels and production efficiency.
At present, Kinco's FMK platform can support the frameless motors for both rotary joints and linear joints required by a full set of full-size humanoid robots.
RD Hollow Shaft Actuator
The Perfect Match for Frameless Torque Motors
Industry Pain Points
1、Difficult wiring and structural limitations of single-board actuators
2、Diverse and inconsistent communication modes, hindering rapid matching and debugging
3、Lack of overload capacity and protection mechanisms, leading to a high risk of board burnout

RD Hollow Drive Solution
1、Designed and developed a ring-shaped hollow drive with a hollow diameter of up to 20 mm, resolving cable routing challenges and enabling more flexible structural design.
2、Supports standard CANopen or EtherCAT protocols, realizing multi-axis synchronization and rapid commissioning.
3、Features multiple protection mechanisms, including overvoltage, undervoltage, over-temperature, short-circuit, overcurrent protection, etc.
4、Supports wide voltage power supply.
Inductive Hollow Shaft Encoder
Industry Pain Points
Joint encoders are characterized by small installation dimensions and require both high repeat positioning accuracy and absolute positioning accuracy. However, optical encoders that can meet these requirements are associated with high costs and are highly sensitive to application environments, demanding strict protection against adverse conditions such as dust, oil contamination, and vibration.

Inductive Hollow Shaft Encoder Solution
Kinco provides inductive encoders with single-turn resolution of 19 bits and ultra-compact size, which support feedback for both high-speed and low-speed shafts.
Amid the new quality productive forces wave centered on technological innovation, Kinco keeps a close focus on the frontier field of embodied robots, always resonates with the rapid development of the robotics industry, and actively leads its future development direction.
